.....Now going into our 23nd year, Bill and Rita Ament offer a creative arts day camp that is a nurturing, loving environment combined with fantastic outdoor fun. Arts and crafts, dance, drama, swimming, games, music & song are woven together into the natural beauty of the San Juan Islands in Washington state.

.....This year our camp continues with a variety of themes: our ever-popular Native American teachings and celebrations, the opportunity to learn the art of many old & new dance styles and the thrill of acting, all rolled into one fantastic time!

.....Our exciting day camps, which are bilingual (English & Spanish) combine the beach, forests, lakes and fields with a stimulating range of age appropriate activities, guided by Bill and Rita along with their experienced Camp Counselors:

  • Arts & Crafts: Painting, Weaving, Beading & More
  • Dancing: From the 50's to Now!
  • Play Acting: Skits & Improvisation.
  • Exercise & Yoga
  • Fun Daily Games
  • Learning: Native American Sign Language.
  • Storytelling: Old and New
  • Music and Singing
  • Swimming: In a Lake Under the Sun Having Fun!
  • Nature Walks/Exploration and Discovery

At the end of the last day of each camp we will culminate with a fun ceremony. Parents, family and friends are invited. The children will share their art, some of what they have learned and receive their ceremonial camp name.

includes cost of t-shirt

A $65 Non-Refundable Deposit reserves your space.
(Tuition balance is due 3 weeks prior to each camp.)

We have scholarships available for island children.

Once we receive your deposit or full payment, we will send you a complete packet of summer camp instructions.

For 23 years children from all over the world have attended our day camp. Treat your child to the magic and fun of camp, while you explore the beauty of the San Juans.
